Theme related activities might include using our train station or making a train station using large painted cardboard boxes with cut out doors and windows, creating an airplane by setting up rows of chairs, making numbered tickets and then selling the tickets and packing their suitcases for a vacation trip.

We incorporate dramatic play materials in all of our make-believe trips by bus, plane, and train. The children wear dress-up clothes to ride in and work on our "vehicles" and role-play as ticket vendors, ticket collectors, chefs, flight attendants, drivers, firefighters, pilots and passengers.
