Visual Learners

Visual Learners like to see what they are learning and experiencing. These learners like to look at the other person for visual clues. For instance: holding up two fingers while saying "take two cookies with you."

Talking "at" a visual learner may cause them to "zone out." They need the visual stimulation for them to best process information.

For example, to best communicate with a visual learner you might use words or phrases such as:

"I see"

"That looks..."

"Show me what you mean"

" Imagine if..."
